Privacy Policy
Chartin ("we", "us") is operated by Bytesage Labs, India. This policy explains what we collect when you use chartin.co, why, and who else processes it. Questions or privacy requests: support@bytesagelabs.com.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture. We store these to identify your account and show your avatar.
- Agency profile. The agency name, website and logo you enter during onboarding.
- Client records. Client names, websites, descriptions, logos and brand colours you save.
- Report content. The report text you paste, and the narration script generated from it.
- Voice samples. Only if you use voice cloning, and only with your confirmation that you have the speaker's permission.
- Generated videos and their audio, stored so you can download them.
- Billing data. Handled by our payment provider. We store your plan and subscription status; we never see or store your card details.
- Technical logs. Request logs and error traces used to operate and debug the service.
How we use it
To generate your videos, keep you signed in, apply your plan's entitlements, take payment, send transactional email (for example when a render finishes), respond to support, and detect abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your report content for advertising or to train our own models.
Legal basis
We process this data to perform the contract of providing Chartin, to operate the service, and where required to meet tax and accounting obligations in India. Bytesage Labs is the data fiduciary for personal data processed through Chartin.
Sub-processors
Delivering the product requires sending some data to these providers:

Report content leaves our systems only to the AI providers above, and only to produce your video. Several of these providers process data outside India. Review their terms if your client data is sensitive.
Retention
Account, agency and client records are kept while your account is open. Finished videos stay available so you can re-download them. We may remove intermediate render files older than 90 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or accounting.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Email support@bytesagelabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Chartin is a business tool for agencies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes, and tell you about material changes by email or in the app.
